GT4 Resources
IIn this section, you'll find links to many of the resources I've used to plan
out my progress toward 100%. Many thanks are given to
GTPlanet.net and the
community there for the wealth of information they've provided. Much of what
I've accomplished, and much of what I hope to accomplish, has been made possible
because of the contributions of many of the members there.
GTPlanet.net's NTSC/USA Used Car Cycle (by TornadoAlley)
http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=71405
The Used Car Lots are key in building my "Drive Any Car" gamesave. Knowing
when and where each of the lowest mileage cars shows up, how much they cost, and
how many of them appear during any particular week is instrumental when it comes
to scheduling. There are also many factors that led to my choice of cars
to use, keeping in mind that certain cars needed to be acquired at the "right
time", to allow for a normal progression through the game.
GTPlanet.net's
200 A-spec Point Subforum
http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=55
In addition to providing much information on which cars can win races, it
gives great suggestions as to which ones can do so for the most points.
While it wasn't originally a major priority when I started this gamesave (long
before my first race on Day 145), I eventually realized that I could come very
close to breaking the 100000 point barrier using only the 47 cars of my fleet.
This forum, and the many threads within it, were key in helping me estimate my
100% total. Special thanks to the many contributors there, as well as
other "A-spec Point Addicts" in the making...
GTPlanet.net's
Track Maps (by AMG)
http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=92023
These track maps are key in my ability to accurately describe the races and the
incidents that take place during them. AMG has been a great contributor, and
many "GT Race Reporters" owe a lot of gratitude for the work he's done.
I'll take this time to give much of what I owe in this an many other regards.
GTPlanet.net's
Prize Car List (NTSC/USA)
http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=56522
Here's a nice list of the events, as well as the prize cars that are awarded for
winning them. Prize car lists for other regional versions can be found via
the links on GTP's FAQs page below...

GTPlanet.net's Car
List
http://www.gtplanet.net/gt4/car_list/get_cars.php
Here's a nice cursory listing of the cars that appear in GT4. There may be
some discrepancies here or there, but for the most part, it's a great resource
to use for getting an idea of what one can drive.
GameFAQs.com's
GT4 FAQs page
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/game/561066.html On this page,
you'll find
AlaskaBlueCat's Race Checklist. It's a nice resource to use, as
it categorically lists the races, their restrictions, the venues, and prize
amounts for each of the events.
Have A Great Drive!
